BEYOND the seaside boundaries of Brighton, the woke capital of Great Britain, parliamentary representatives like Labour’s Lloyd Russell-Moyle are viewed, quite rightly, as the caricatures that he/she/they actually are.
And so it was in parliament during Tuesday’s open debate surrounding the Conservative government’s recent (and first) intervention to block the Royal Assent of the Scottish National Party’s (SNP) ‘Gender Recognition Act’ (GRA) Reform Bill, which would make it far easier for any man or woman (but mostly men) to obtain a ‘Gender Recognition Certificate’ (GRC) that legally recognises someone’s ‘acquired gender’, as opposed to the sex they were born.
In essence, having shot down any reasonable amendments to the Bill to keep some safeguarding in place for women and girls when debated north of the border last month, a frenzied Scottish Parliament — led by a woman, Nicola Sturgeon — opened the door for convicted male sex offenders to ‘self-ID’ as a woman and be moved to women’s prisons and women’s refuges or rape crisis centres.
It was just this concern, also held by the United Nations (UN), that led to Conservative MP Miriam Cates supporting her own government’s intervention:
‘Predators will exploit any loophole they can find to get access to children, and that is, I’m afraid, what will happen with this Bill. We shouldn’t be asking how easy is it for someone who’s uncomfortable with their sex to obtain a GRC; we should be asking how easy is it for a predator to get access to children?”
It was the moment Moyle had been waiting for. Now was his time to shine and go to war for Brighton’s entire ‘rainbow community’. Now was the time to fill the hearts of his Brighton Kemptown constituency with pride.
So proud of himself that he posted his unhinged diatribe to his own social media channels, took Cates to task for ‘one of the worst, transphobic, dog-whistle speeches that I have heard in an awful long time’.
Why would Moyle so vehemently attack the argument that this new law would undeniably give to sexual deviants to legally enter women’s and children’s spaces? Is there something more to this childless gay man than meets the eye?
Well, yes, actually.
During a debate back in June 2022, ironically moved by Cates, herself, the House discussed what the future of ‘sex education’ in schools should look like. Often picking apart unsuitable materials or language currently shared in schools for certain age groups, in addition to the clear indoctrination of children where transgenderism, ‘gender-identity’ or any other ‘LGBTQ issues’ are concerned, the measured and rational tone suddenly deviated as Moyle shared an experience of his own:
He ended: ‘The principle of learning about things before people are legally able to do them but when they are physically able to engage in them, which 15-year-olds are, I am afraid, could have been lifesaving.”
I need not remind anyone, of course, but 15 is still under the age of sexual consent, and legally, you are, regardless of your post-pubescent status, still regarded as a child.
Nevertheless, through his odd brand of logic, if Moyle he had his way, all teenagers of the same age, or perhaps younger — not his, but other people’s children — should be taught how to auto-asphyxiate themselves safely to ‘help’ prevent underage sexual tragedies.
Maybe this perverse view of children, where age shouldn’t be the driving factor regarding sexual experience, but instead when they are ‘physically able to engage’ with their surroundings, or others, as opposed to what their immature and naive brains can process (or should be allowed to process), provides sure evidence now of Moyle’s complete disregard for female and child safety when it comes to any potential and obvious harm they will face if the GRA Bill were to go ahead.
Here we are, in the 21st century, in the Motherland of all parliamentary democracies, genuinely discussing the prospect of male rapists and murderers, of whom there are many walking the streets, being allowed to enter any female changing room, public lavatory (those that still exist), or even women’s refuge housing women who have already been battered or raped by men.
For all the ‘kinder politics’ claptrap we hear from so-called left-wing ‘progressives’, particularly men, be under no illusions that deep down, their hatred for women knows no bounds.
The rainbow flag, now almost exclusively hijacked by the pink and blue stripes of the ‘Ts’, along with sex-fetish and kink-ridden men, very much represents the altar to which we must all be slowly sacrificed. You know, for all those ‘rights’ that men don’t currently have . . .
