AS readers of TCW know, the indefatigable Dr Ros Jones has spent the last 18 months speaking out against Covid vaccines for children. In May 2021, with a group of 40 other concerned doctors, she pleaded first with the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) and the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI) to halt any proposals to widen the temporary emergency authorisation for Covid-19 vaccines to children on the grounds of major safety concerns. Learning that the JCVI was passing this decision to the Prime Minister, she put her plea directly to Boris Johnson.
It was to no avail. Though there was neither a medical, ethical nor legal basis for child vaccination, Johnson’s government authorised it. Over the subsequent months the JCVI went on to agree, apparently against its better judgement, to extend the programme to 12-15-year-olds, then to even younger children, aged five to 11, though it was already acknowledged by the US Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and Public Health England that vaccination did not prevent transmission of SARS-CoV-2, making this unethical adult protection measure pointless.
By October 2021 it should have been impossible for the government and health authorities to ignore the constellation of concerns that Dr Jones and her colleagues had raised. This included evidence of elevated myocarditis risks for 16-19-year-old males. Over the year that followed the high levels of vaccine injury reported for all age groups should have been impossible for the government to ignore, with adverse event reports for Covid vaccines ‘already more than 1,000 per cent higher than total annual reports for all other vaccines given over the past ten years’, yet it continued in denial. In light of this, Dr Jones begged the government to rethink mandatory vaccination for health and care staff. Sajid Javid remained adamant, though his successor as Health Secretary finally backed down over NHS staff.
Dr Jones, along with many medical colleagues, believes the ever-growing litany of vaccine injury evidence from across all age groups is now such that the entire vaccination programme must be halted or, at the very least, paused pending a thorough and independent safety review. Its efficacy against current variants is negligible, the symptoms of which in any case are now mild as a cold, while the boosters appear to be producing even more alarming adverse side effects, as reported by Professor Angus Dalgleish.
That is why she, with a group of 18 members of the newly formed Doctors For Patients UK, have put together a compilation of video clips presenting their deep concerns.
Doctors for Patients UK (DFPUK) was launched in September and has become a fast-growing group of UK doctors who are dedicated to practising ethical, evidence-based, patient-centred medicine. The group was born out of increasing concerns that core principles of medical ethics are being disregarded, such as the oath ‘First do no harm’, respect for individual bodily autonomy and the need to obtain full and informed consent for all medical interventions.
In the video several doctors share their individual perspectives and serious safety and ethical concerns about the Covid jabs in the hope that urgent action will finally be taken by the authorities.
This fulfils their duty, as outlined by the General Medical Council, for doctors to take prompt action when they see that patient safety is being compromised. These are doctors who have always advocated and promoted ‘traditional’ vaccines. They are fully aware of the risk they are taking in speaking out against the mainstream narrative which has triggered problems with employers and the GMC for other doctors who have acted similarly. However, they believe they have an ethical duty to speak out where patient safety is a concern and they have stepped up to do so. Concerns range from myocarditis, menstrual irregularities, new onset asthma, heart attacks in the young and the ethics of vaccination in children and pregnant women in the absence of long-term safety data.
The most depressing thing, Dr Jones tells me, is seeing from the safety of her own retirement some 100 or more medics in this group who are terrified for their jobs, their incomes, even their marriages, if they speak out. Several, she says, are already facing disciplinary hearings only for asking questions. Yet the GPs in the film are not only seeing side effects day in, day out, but how the current NHS staffing crisis is being exacerbated by the negative effect of the recent booster programme.
The video in which the doctors call for an investigation of mRNA vaccines can be viewed in full here. You need to scroll down the press release (beyond a slot which says ‘video does not exist’) to find the video at the end.
